WWL takes forward the Unchained Project and attempts to tackle longstanding issues in class design, identity, and balance. Unleashed content is made with the intent of keeping classes viable for play with Vanilla content and compatible with pre-existing archetypes. Outside of Unleashed, we are creating original content and rewrites of third party to better fit and not invalidate original classes and content.
Some expected changes include:
- Altering how class abilities scale with levels
- Introducing new abilities or replacing under-performing ones
- Skill adjustments
- Streamlining complex rule interactions
- Introducing successful 2e design elements and lore tidbits
